Converting A Bronco to Electric
#1

Hello all, first post here.

Has anyone attempted an electric conversion of a Ford Bronco?  I found a great deal on CL in florida the other day (I'm in VA) on a Bronco and want to convert to electric.  Does anyone have any advice on doing this?  Picture attached.

TIA!

Welcome, Marlon!

You probably could find some nice rust-free ford Broncos to convert to electric near where I live (california) if you wanted to look that far to the west.  I've never attempted a Bronco electric conversion, but I imagine it would be a lot like other conversions you see on YouTube - remove the engine, sourcing the right motors & batteries, then hooking it all up.  Consider how you will heat the car in those Virginia winters, too.   Wink

I've never converted a Bronco to electric, but by the looks of it, you could probably have a really big array of batteries in the "bed" portion of the vehicle.
